
Just months back, David Beckham wowed the crowd with his Emporio Armani underwear ad as he boasted his six-pack body, but it looks like his wife, singer-fashion icon Victoria Beckham is now following her husband’s footsteps as she agreed to a £12 million ad campaign for Emporio Armani underwear 2009 spring/summer season.
David Beckham’s ad became controversial not only because he was really HOT, but also because critics claimed the photos were airbrushed to make him look well-endowed. Although it wouldn’t be shocking if Victoria’s photos would also be edited before print, she does maintain a great body, so taking her clothes off won’t be much of a problem for the 34-year-old mom of three sons. Plus, Victoria can always ask for advice from her husband on how to sell underwear on a global scale.
When asked by WWD about her husband’s photo shoot earlier this year, Victoria said, “David’s pictures were fantastic. He looked gorgeous in them. I was very, very proud and happy for him. He looked amazing.”
Victoria knows fashion well – remember her campaign with a Marc Jacobs’ ad in the spring? Unlike her husband who confessed that he was afraid of stripping off for the cameras with only his underwear, I bet Victoria wouldn’t even make a sweat posing for the Emporio Armani.
