Tyra Banks decides it’s time to put plus-sized teens into the spotlight via her reality modeling competition.

Just like Oprah who announced in November she was ending her highly influential talk show in 2011, Tyra Banks has decided to end her talk show “The Tyra Show” next year. Apparently, it was Oprah’s move that gave Banks the motivation to take the next step to further her career.

Blogger Perez Hilton guest-starred on the Tyra Show, which premieres today, where Tyra asks Hilton not to bad-mouth celebrities under the age of 18 for six months.

Yesterday, Tyra Banks testified in court in New York City at the trial of a man accused of stalker her. The 38-year-old Brady Green was arrested last year after trying to enter the Manhattan building where “The Tyra Banks Show” tapes… twice. Once, Green sent Banks flowers with the note, “When I see you, I love you,” and threatening to slit the throat of her assistant.
