Tom Cruise is a romantic… he says.
For his wife’s 30th birthday, the 46-year-old Cruise says they’re celebrating along the way to her special day. “I’ve been kind of surprising her throughout the week with things,” He tells Ryan Secreast’s KIIS-FM radio show Wednesday.
When Seacrest asked Cruise advice on how to woo a woman, Cruise says, “I like romance. You gotta think about these things. You’ve got to know the right thing and pay attention throughout the year … and just know your lady.”
Holmes celebrated her birthday tonight on Broadway as she performed in “All My Sons”. Meanwhile, Cruise is scheduled to show up on the Hollywood premiere of his movie Valkyrie.

The love story of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wasn’t really out in the public, since the media focused on their age gap, scientology and other issues when they first became a couple. On the December 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, the A-list couple will be featured with revelations from their first date to their marriage.
Tom Cruise admitted that he fell real hard for Katie Holmes that he wanted to marry her instantly. Cruise even bought Katie an engagement ring shortly after their first date back in 2005.
Holmes admitted to Tom Cruise that as a little girl, she dreamt of marrying him as she “admired him growing up”. However, Cruise was a bit tradition, saying, “At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject. I wanted to ask her.”
Katie Holmes also revealed that she was completely in love after their first date, saying, “He was so warm, and I thought, ‘Wow! ‘You can be a superstar and a human being.’ He made me feel so amazing”

Angelina Jolie is doing another spy movie. This time, she will replace Tom Cruise in the thriller, “Edwin A. Salt”.
In an interview with BBC Radio Monday, Angelina Jolie talks about her newest film and was quoted saying, “I’m working on a film called Salt. And it’s with [Bone Collector director] Phillip Noyce. And that’s it.”
Rumors have started to pop up starting August that Jolie was being asked for the role since Cruise dropped out. The writers reworked the lead character to be female. Jolie will be portraying a CIA officer falsely accused of being a Russian agent.
