Los Angeles, CA. - King of Pop Michael Jackson may be dead but his magic continues to live-even on the big screen with “This Is It” finishing first at the Halloween box office weekend.

They predicted it was going to be big, but Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” movie took in $2.2 million domestically from its first late-night screenings, setting it up for a big full opening day Wednesday and a strong shot at a No. 1 debut weekend.

Michael Jackson fans around the world don’t have to wait for the ‘This is It’ premiere to dance the Thriller. Earlier today, several thousand of fans participated in the annual dance-a-thon of “Thrill the World” in hope of setting a new world record.

“This it It,” the newly-released single by the late Michael Jackson, wasn’t his song completely. Apparently, the song was recorded 18 years ago by Puerto Rican singer Paul Anka.

Michael Jackson can still sell-out tickets like pancakes. Advanced screenings to the music documentary “Michael Jackson: This is It” sold out within two hours early Sunday, after fans lined up three days earlier have bought all 3,000 tickets to the LA shows.
