Oprah Chosen as PETA’s Person of the Year

Oprah doesn’t have to be worried about her weight, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) loves her just the way she is. In fact, PETA has named Oprah its “Person of the Year”.
According to the president of the Norfolk,VA-based animal rights group Ingrid E. Newkirk, the 54-year-old Oprah was singled out from the rest of Hollywood because she uses her “powerful voice to defend those without one.”
Earlier this year, Oprah dedicated an episode of her show to her late cocker spaniel, Sophie.
Winfrey is set to receive a PETA Award plaque and letter of appreciation.

John Mayer: “Jen is a huge liar and we are having twins”

After a month of rumors that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are dating again, Jen confirmed it on a visit to ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ Wednesday. The next day, the couple was immediately seen in public at the Gold Bar in New York.
Access Hollywood interviewed Mayer at the Black Ball AIDS benefit at the Hammerstein Ballroom and asked about Aniston’s confirmation on Oprah that she is not pregnant. The singer responded saying, “Let me just tell you that Jen is a huge liar and we are having twins.”
People caught Mayer Thursday night with nothing but praises for Aniston, saying “It’s really nice to have somebody in life have your back. That girl knows me … So, whether I go to bed alone or not, to have somebody who knows you in this world, that’s a really nice thing.”
