To all the fans of the “Twilight” saga, the long wait has finally come to an end. The much awaited trailer of the vampire flick’s sequel, “New Moon”, is finally released.

2009 is definitely the year of “Twilight”. The vampire flick only captivated the hearts of millions of fans, thus it was able to conquer this years MTV Movie Awards.

Now that the MTV Movie Awards is about to take place during the weekend, expect a lot of surprises coming not just from the stars and production numbers, but from its host, SNL Star Andy Samberg.

Fans of the hit vampire saga “Twilight” will sure be stuck on the boob tube to get a glimpse of the first footage of the hit movie’s saga “New Moon,” as it will make its debut on the 2009 MTV Awards.
And stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be the ones to present the clip to the audiences.
According to MTV Movie Awards producer Mark Burnett, “fans can tune-in to the show to see sneak peeks from three of the most highly anticipated movies of the year. These clips have never been seen before and we’re very excited that ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ is one of them.”
This is the second time that fans were given a big treat during the prestigious awards show. Back in 2008, a clip of Edward fighting James (Cam Gigandet) took its first steps on screen at the MTV Movie Awards. “Twilight,” along with “Slumdog Millionaire,” swept the nominations, each garnering six.
Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live” will be hosting the 18th annual MTV Movie Awards which will be held on May 31. Eminem has already confirmed his performance on the show, while the complete list of presenters is yet to be released.
