Jen Aniston Beats ex-husband Brad Pitt at the Box Office

Although Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are no longer married, they sure share the same joy this Christmas as both of their movies became box office hits.
Unfortunately for Brad, Jennifer Aniston’s comedy flick ‘Marley & Me’alongside Owen Wilson led the ticket sales with $14.8 million on its opening day alone. But Brad’s movie, ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ wasn’t far behind. With award-winning actress Cate Blanchett, Brad’s movie had about $11.8 million worth of tickets sold on Christmas day.
Aniston’s movie set the record for the highest Christmas opening of all-time, while Brad’s film became the second-highest Christmas opening of all-time. However, both of the movies received favorable reviews.

Jennifer Aniston: “I’m not trying to make a statement”

After posing nude for GQ magazine with only a tie and her smile to keep her warm, Jennifer Aniston has turned heads and received praises more than before. At the L.A. premiere of her comedy flick, “Marley & Me”, Jennifer responded to questions of her “motives” for posing nude all of a sudden. The actress simply replied, “I wasn’t trying to make any statement.”
Assuming as though Jennifer Aniston wanted to say “Eat your hearts out Brad!”, fans obsessed about the Bragelina-Aniston story will definitely be bummed that Aniston had nothing to say about that ancient issue.
Aniston’s boyfriend, John Mayer, on the other hand, tells US Weekly he was perfectly okay with the GQ cover, saying, “I mean, if I have a problem with that cover, I should just get the hell out of here.” When a reporter tried to give Mayer a copy, the singer joked, “No, don’t make me hold it. … Because when I touch it, angels die.”
