Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron, who have worked together in the 1997 award winning film “Devil’s Advocate” and the 2001 movie “Sweet November” both faced separate legal cases this week.

Last year, a photographer named Alison Silva contended that Keanu Reeves struck him with a car, which caused him wrist injuries and his job, demanding more than $700,000 in damages. But after a year and a half of waiting for the case to reach trial, Reeves and Silva faced trial Monday as the jury spent less than an hour to decide that the photographer had no case.

Although Silva has documents and hospital bills to show that (he hopes) would be enough for him to win the case and win the jury’s sympathy as he has lost his job due to the incident, Reeves’ lawyers fought with a video that showed Silva climbing down from Britney Spears’ fence using his hands.

Meanwhile, Charlize Theron has settled the $20-million breach-of-contract lawsuit filed by Raymond Weil Watches, which the actress endorsed. According to the watch company, the Theron was seen wore a Dior watch to an event after she has been paid a large amount of money for her to wear only Raymond Weil’s timepieces.
