Mischa Barton taken into Involuntary Psych Hold

Former “The OC” star Mischa Barton was taken away by police and hospitalized involuntary under California’s “psychiatric hold” law a few hours before she was scheduled to fly to New York for her movie “Homecoming” premiere. Police took Barton to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was hospitalized under Section 5150 of the California Welfare & Institutions Code.
