Aside from her mom Dina sending her ex-husband a message to stop discussing Lindsay’s private life, Lindsay herself has had it enough of her father claiming that she’s abusing prescription pills. Apparently, Lindsay is planning to get a restraining order against Michael Lohan.
Believe it or not, it has been nine months since Britney Spears has been out of trouble and even out of the headlines. Now, Britney’s dad Jamie is reportedly planning to ask a judge to review the terms of Brit’s conservatorship in November. Should the judge decide that Britney has been a responsible adult, she can regain control of her business and personal affairs.
Britney Spears is very familiar with the legal system. In fact, in the last year alone, Britney has appeared on multiple hearings, court updates and other appearances in court for various reasons. When her father’s co-conservatorship started in Feb 2008, Britney’s music and personal life has improved greatly, but it comes with a hefty price - millions of dollars.
Compared to Britney Spears’ life back in late-2007 and mid-2008, when she did all those crazy things from shaving her head to attacking photographers, the pop star is now doing great. She’s back in shape, has just bought a new house, has a new successful album, has won several awards and continues to be one of the most famous pop stars in the world. However, although she isn’t doing anything “crazy” right now like shaving her head or wearing no panties, the drama still follows her around.
Jamie Spears, Britney’s dad, recently obtained restraining orders Friday against three people - Britney’s ex-beau Adnan Ghallib, her former manager Sam Lutfi and lawyer Jon Eardley.
Jamie Spears is a lucky dad. After getting a raise for his conservatorship last December, he’ll probably be earning more money now since he will have total control over Britney’s life.
According to court papers filed in L.A. Superior Court Monday, Jamie Spears’ temporary conservatorship over Britney’s career will become permanent. This new agreement gives Jamie and attorney Andrew Wallet permanent control over the ‘Circus’ singer’s’ finances.
If you think having no control over your hard-earned money is bad, you’ll probably give Britney Spears all the sympathy in the world once you know that Jamie Spears will be the sole conservator over Britney’s personal life. This means the pop star can’t date or socialize with anyone daddy doesn’t like. Jamie will be given the power to “restrict and limit visitors by any means.”
Although Britney seems looking healthier these days (Check out her latest pictures back to work at the studios below), you just can’t help but feel sorry for the girl. Can you imagine being 27 years old millionaire and be unable to do what you please?
