It’s been weeks since Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick has been facing rumors of a troubled marriage. Yesterday, the couple went out for a “date night” and visited Broadway to watch Ruehl and Lily Rabe in “The American Plan.”
The couple, who held hands and turned a simple night into a romantic evening, told reporters, “‘We don’t even bother to address them,” when asked about the rumors of a break-up. She adds that the best part of “being married” is “being married.”
However, Sarah Jessica Parker and Broderick didn’t attend the play to defend their relationship. They watched the play in support of the director, David Grindley. After watching, Parker was quoted saying “It was lovely.” Grindley is scheduled to take up another play in six weeks, entitled “The Philanthropist” where Broderick will star in.
