A-Rod used to be one of the hottest baseball players out there today. But because of the steroid issue and the rumor that he hooked up with Madonna and left his family, he hasn’t made a comeback yet. Now, Alex Rodriguez graces the cover of Details magazine and kisses himself on the mirror, poses with his muscles flexed and other weird poses.
Both Madonna and A-Rod made news this week after news about Rodriguez’s steroid use broke and Madonna’s photos with the 22-year-old Brazilian model Jesus Luz for W magazine came out. Alex Rodriguez has gone back to his ex-wife, which has left Madonna furious.
On an interview on ESPN, A-Rod acknowledged his use of steroids. Stating that it is was a means to keep up with expectations from his multi-million dollar deal with the baseball outfit Texas Rangers.
Separating amidst last years scandalous rumors of infidelities, obsessions and a supposed relationship with the material girl. A-rod’s marriage to the mother of her two daughters is now legally dead.
Madonna and Alex Rodriguez has been the talk of town since the 50-year-old singer has been rumored to cause A-Rod’s divorce and reportedly starting dating once Madge has finalized her divorce from Guy Richie.
Although both A-Rod and Madonna kept mum over the issue, the Yankee star decided to end the rumors once and for all on an interview with People magazine, saying “I have a lot of respect for [Madonna]. She’s very committed to making the world a better place. She’s had an amazing career, and we’re friends. That’s it.”
Despite pictures and rumors that the two has been traveling the world together, A-Rod revealed, “I can tell you this. I have never been on a plane with her.”
A-Rod thinks that the tabloids has been making up stories about him and Madonna telling the mag, “I’ve been to two [of her] concerts, yet I’ve read that I went to 20. I’ve also read that we were buying an apartment together. That is absolutely ridiculous and not true. You have to have a sense of humor when it comes to this stuff.”
However, A-Rod will not deny that he is good friends with Madonna as she introduced him into charities. Rodriguez said, “I initially knew nothing about her charity. I learned that we shared a lot of the same commitments toward helping children after attending one of Madonna’s fundraisers. I was very moved by the whole thing. I saw the documentary and it was very inspiring and informative. I saw an opportunity to help and I jumped at that.”

You’d think it was planned, but Madonna and A-Rod came to Mexico last weekend separately and with different reasons: the 50-year-old singer was in town to perform as part of her “Sticky & Sweet” tour, while 33-year-old Alex Rodriguez was invited to inaugurate the sports center by Mexico’s richest man, Carlos Slim. A-rod then taught a bunch of kids for two hours on the new sports complex.
Although the two were exactly in the same country during the weekend, no confirmation has been made from both A-rod and Madonna’s side that the two met up. For the last weeks, Madonna and A-rod has made headlines as the Yankee star has been seen at Madonna’s Miami Concert and reportedly spent Thanksgiving after A-Rod has fulfilled his family obligations – all of which happened just a few days after the finalization of Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s divorce. A-Rod and his wife divorced in September, months after he made tabloid headlines for a rumored, but denied, affair with Madonna.
The Yankee third baseman had only a few words to say when asked what he thought about being in the same city at the same time as his rumored girl, saying “it was very good”. A-Rod, however, had more to say about teaching kids how to bat, saying in Spanish, “It’s a pleasure to talk about baseball, to talk about the importance of keeping children off the streets, out of drugs and out of all the bad things that there are in this life.”

A few days ago, Alex Rodriguez was seen watching Madonna’s concert at the Dolphin Stadium and reportedly was serenaded by the 50-year-old singer at her own concert. Since then, reports of A-rod spending thanksgiving with the pop star instead of his kids and soon-to-be ex-wife have been swirling all around blogs and other networks. While some insisted that the Yankee star won’t be spending the holidays with Madonna, others are pretty sure he’ll go straight to her Kabbalah arms.
Funny thing is, A-rod did both – he visited his family for Thanksgiving dinner and then rushed to be with his “friend” Madonna at her house nearby. After his brunch with Madonna’s manager Guy Oseary, A-rod went directly to his wife Cynthia’s house where he did a little quality time with daughters Ella (7 months) and Natasha (4). At around 4 pm, A-rod reportedly sped off to Madonna’s Star Island home.

Madonna may had given Alex Rodriguez a chaperone, but that didn’t stop the younger and blonder Kate Hudson and A-Rod to do some serious flirting Friday on Miami at the opening of Fontainebleau Hotel.
After having a quiet lunch with Madonna’s BFF Gwyneth Paltrow Friday afternoon, Madonna’s longtime friend Ingrid Casares was placed on duty to keep A-Rod occupied during Mariah Carey’s performance at the South Beach resort. A-Rod and Casares shared a private table with club promoted Tommy Pooch, but Madge’s friend couldn’t handle the charms of tablemate Kate Hudson.
According to witnesses, “Hudson had her arms completely wrapped around A-Rod’s waist and every time he leaned over to talk to anyone she would pull him back toward her. They were laughing and giggling all night.”
But Hudson wasn’t alone trying to flirt the Yankee star. Sofia Vergara also tried to get A-Rod’s attention by leaning over the table with her assets in A-Rod’s face as she revealed how much she loved A-Rod, but every time Hudson whispered something into the ball player’s ears; his attention was always brought back to Kate.

The New York Post reported that both Madge and A-rod took off in separate private helicopters last week for a top-secret rendezvous at Jerry Seinfeld’s 12-acre estate.
A-Rod, who just faced a public divorce, flew by chopper to East Hampton, where a Porsche 911 picked him up. The car matched Jessica Seinfeld’s white Porsche. Within the same hour, a helicopter landed at the Chelsea Piers where Madonna landed and was fetched by Jerry Seinfeld’s Porsche. A witness told the Post that Jerry and Madonna headed back to Seinfeld’s place.
As it turns out, the Seinfelds have been a close friend of Madonna’s for years since they were neighbors on the West Side. However, the reason why Jessica and Jerry fetched Madonna and A-Rod separately remains unclear. To keep the paparazzi guessing, i assume? Or to make their lives ala-James-Bond-film and keep their meeting a bit exciting? I guess we will never know.
There are no details about what A-Rod and Madge did during their 4-hour visit to the Seinfeld’s, but a dark SUV left the house and took all of them back to the airport. Jerry, Jessica and Madonna all piled into the copter that had taken Madonna there a few hours back, but A-Rod left on his own copter alone.
Well, this news is not all that shocking, but the way Madonna and Alex Rodiguez hooked up at the Hamptons for only four hours is just like a scene from an spy action-filled film. You think these two celebrities would keep their meetings low-profile, but then again, all this sneaking up just makes the spotlight turn to them more.
