Domestic couple Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are going to be busy partying at the Academy Awards on Sunday, and they say that they’re going to tie the knot right after the party!

“It’s tomorrow!” Nicole says to Ryan Seacrest after the host asked about the newly engaged couple’s wedding plans.

“I was actually thinking it would be cool to do it here,” adds Joel.

Nicole and Joel have been a steady couple since 2006 and have two children together, Harlow and Sparrow. They recently got engaged last month.

But on a more serious note, the two are not yet sure of what to do on their wedding, as they’re doing it at their “own pace.”

“We have no idea right now,” Joel tells Ryan.

Who says Miley’s not doing anything for Haiti?

The tween queen’s actually busy organizing an online auction dedicated to the Haiti relief effort, says People magazine.

“Ever since the earthquake, I’ve been trying to do my part to help the people of Haiti,” says the 17-year old star. “And I wanted to do more.”

Up for grabs is the Herve Leger dress she donned at the Grammy Awards, Britney Spears’ silver Versace mini, and jewelry donated by Nicole Richie from her House of Harlow line.

Nicole Richie’s been busy with her new fashion projects since the late 2009, but this year, she’s got a new project to check out-she’s going to be a guest judge on ‘Project Runway’!

The celeb/fashion designer will open the show’s Season 7 premiere, says Peope Magazine.

“Nicole is a fabulous guest judge,” says ‘Project Runway’ exec Sara Rea. “She has strong opinions and gives clear and specific constructive criticism to the designers. Also, she isn’t afraid to disagree with the other judges.”

During the previous season, fashion-oriented celebs such as Eva Longoria-Parker, Christina Aguilera, Cindy Crawford and Lindsay Lohan have served as guest judges for the said show.

Nicole can be trusted in these things though; she has a her own signature clothing line, Winter Kate, and as well designs her own jewelry sold at House of Harlow 1960.

‘Project Runway’ Season 7 will air on Thursday, January 14 at the Lifetime Channel.

Nicole Richie is making a TV comeback, but not as a reality star. She’s going to create and star in her own comedy show!

The former “Simple Life” star is planning to create her own comedy program on ABC, whose plot “revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships.”

“I am so excited to announce that I am officially working on a television project,” the 29-year old star said on her official website. “I am creating a half-hour scripted comedy for ABC in which I will be starring in, as well as producing.”

The sitcom is currently in the talks with the network. Nicole, who has made other acting appearances on TV such as “American Dreams” and “Chuck,” admits that she’s also doing a bit of homework to prepare for her role.

Nicole is currently busy with her jewelry and maternity fashion lines, as well as being Joel Madden’s other half and mother to children Harlow and Sparrow.

Nicole Richie is being treated in a US hospital for pneumonia.

The 28-year-old — who gave birth to son Sparrow in September — bowed out of the Nov. 10 launch of her House of Harlow jewelry at Bebe in L.A., citing illness. On Sunday, Nicole Tweeted that she was feeling ill, writing “ok cold, it’s been 6 days.”

Nicole admitted herself to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in LA on Wednesday.

Richie’s publicist has announced that the reality TV star is responding well to pneumonia treatments and is expected to make full recovery. “Nicole has checked into Cedars-Sinai where she is being treated for pneumonia; she is doing well,” a rep of Nicole said Wednesday.

Ryan Seacrest wasn’t the only one who got rid of a stalker today. Nicole Richie has also won herself a temporary restraining order against two paparazzi, who slammed into her car earlier this month.

Nicole hired Mark Geragos’ film to handle the case and the lawyer Tamar Arminak attended a court hearing this afternoon, where he convinced the judge that photographers Bam Bam and Ivon Miguel are a danger to Nicole.

Bam Bam and Miguel were ordered to stay 100 yards away from Nicole and have no direct or indirect contact with her, her kids and even Richie’s staff. However, Nicole’s boyfriend and father of her 2 kids Joel Madden is not covered by the restraining order.

In her declaration, Nicole says the harassment occurs “on a daily basis.” She claimed the paps have been “stalking our home, as we try to go about living our lives.”

Another hearing to make the restraining order permanent has been scheduled for next month.

Reality TV star Nicole Richie was hurt Monday in a fender-bender in Beverly Hills.

The 28-year-old Richie, who just gave birth to her second child last month, was driving a Land Rover on Wilshire Blvd. when she was rear-ended by a photographer, who just happened to be driving without a license.

According to Beverly Hills police Lt. Mike Hill, Richie complained of pain, but decided to deny an ambulance and seek her own treatment.

Edwardo Arriveben, 29, a freelance photographer, was arrested on suspicion of driving without a license.

Richie, who is currently running a clothing and accessories store, gave birth last month to Sparrow James Midnight Madden, her second child with Joel Madden. Their daughter, Harlow, will be 2 in January.

Lionel Richie’s daughter gave birth to her second child last September 9, whom they christened Sparrow James Midnight Madden.

Proud papa Joel meanwhile spread his excitement all over the internet by Twitting the latest updates about his wife while she was giving birth.

“Geuss who’s back… Oh I’m sorry we were only having a little baby boy,” he wrote on his Twitter page on Wednesday morning. After two hours, he gave an update saying:

“1^st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter… That’s right son, ur just like old man.”

Richie, after gaining back her strength from the labor pains, took time to update her own Twitter page and wrote:

“What a great day to come back on Twitter… Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!”

Another celebrity joins the roster of stars who are raising awareness about the current situation of African nation of Congo-in the person of Nicole Richie.

The former reality TV star speaks out on her blog about the sexual crimes that currently plague the country, just to ditch out minerals mined from the nation’s ores. These minerals are then sold to companies that manufacture several products including laptops and mobile phones.

Richie, together with Kimberly Pinkson from the EcoMom Alliance, and friend John Prendergast from The Enough Project, further spoke about how the people of Congo suffer from these crimes, and as well call to the public to avoid purchasing products that use minerals that come from Congo and other African nations that are currently in conflict.

“It is rape,” Richie says on the video posted on her blog. “They are raping these women and not only is it-I mean it’s not just rape, these women are being raped in front of their husbands, in front of their children…I mean, this stuff is really inhumane. This is the worst thing that I’ve ever heard in my life.”

Nicole Richie’s baby bump is getting bigger by the day, but she continue to work a lot for her baby Harlow and family, while making sure she helps other kids around the world as well. At the UNICEF and Richie-Madden Foundation Tap Project benefit last night, the mom-to-be laughed off rumors that she’s having twins.

Nicole joked around saying, “I have twins! People popped out of me yesterday,” as the Madden twins were beside her.

Though Nicole had nothing to say about the overnight fame of the Octomom, who gave birth to 8 babies recently, she has strong opinions about why children’s charities are important to them.

Joel said, “We love kids. As Good Charlotte, we’ve always been involved in children’s organizations, and Nicole’s always been doing work for kids. When we started our foundation, it was all about kids.”
