Canadian teen pop sensation Justin Bieber may be the most wanted young man in Canada, but he too has suffered a broken heart.

“My first crush was when I was 13, in my little town in Canada,” says the 15-year old. “You know, it was one of those little crushes you have when you’re younger. I asked her out and she said no.”

But that’s already in the past, and Bieber’s busy making a name for himself-and girls from all over are now out to get him.

He does, however, have one crush now. And it’s Beyonce!

“I met her at the VMAs. I went up to her, said ‘I love your music,’ and she said, ‘Aww you’re so cute,’” he recalls. “She’s gorgeous.”

Beyonce wowed audiences by making history at the 2010 Grammy Awards last Sunday, but if there’s one person she stunned the most, it was her better half, Jay-Z.

The diva, who grabbed 6 trophies at the awards night, addressed Jay-Z as her husband in her acceptance speech, a rare thing for her to do. And what did he say?

“He was shocked!” Beyonce recalls. “He was just like, ‘What did you say?’”

Even she couldn’t believe what she just said.

“I was just like, ‘What did I just do? No, I didn’t just say that,’” she explained, saying that she was just caught by the moment. “I was so happy, I could’ve said anything. That’s why I ran off the stage.”

Aside from winning 6 awards, Beyonce has another reason to celebrate: her perfume line, Beyonce Heat, is also a smash hit.

“This morning I woke up and they told me the fragrance is the number one fragrance in America,” she says. “I had absolutely no idea.”

Her perfume also sported a steamy ad, but the singer says shooting the video wasn’t that difficult because they did it on her special day.

“It was my birthday when we filmed the video,” she reveals. “We had fun. They brought out cake and candles.”

It was a night of history at the 2010 Grammy Awards, with Beyonce Knowles taking home six trophies, the most for any female singer to win in one night.

Sasha Fierce bagged four awards during the pre-show, and had two more during the show itself, including song of the year “Single Ladies”.

The same single also won best female R&B performance and best R&B song. Her multiplatinum selling abum “I Am… Sasha Fierce” was as well named best contemporary R&B album while her single “At Last” won best traditional R&B.

Running behind is Taylor Swift, who won four awards, including best country song and best female country vocal for “White Horse,” best country album and album of the year for “Fearless.”

Other big winners at the night’s awards show include pop group Black Eyed Peas, who took home three trophies including best pop album for “The E.N.D.” and Maxwell, who tagged two trophies under his name for best R&B album and best male R&B vocal for “Blacksummers’ Night” and “Pretty Wings,” respectively.

Beyonce Knowles rarely addresses her better half Jay-Z as her husband ever since they married in 2008, but this time she just wasn’t able to control her emotions.

The diva took home five out of ten Grammy nominations that night, including song of the year for “Single Ladies.” She also took home the best female vocal performance award, where she finally addressed her man in public.

“I’d love to thank my family for all their love and support, including my husband. I love you.” She said.

Jay-Z, 40, looked pleasantly stunned by what she said.

George Clooney’s ‘Hope for Haiti’ telethon will take place this Friday in Los Angeles, London, New York and Haiti, and among the list of performers include two iconic hit makers, Beyonce and Madonna.

Beyonce will be performing live from London, while Madge will take the New York stage. Other performers include Alicia Keys, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban and Stevie Wonder.

The 2-hour telethon will be participated by Clooney himself, as well as Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington, Brad Pitt and former President Bill Clinton. It will be aired on different TV networks around the globe.

DiCaprio has already donated $1 million to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund, a joint effort by former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Lindsay Lohan predicts her own fearless forecast for the year 2010 via Twitter: “LOHAN MAYHEM!”

Well, the troubled 23-year old starlet says this mayhem will be on a more positive light, at the same time she wishes all her fans and followers a “blessed new year.”

What can we expect from LiLo, who’s had way of a rollercoaster ride back in ‘09. She adds, “2010 is about moving forward, not backwards. Leaving the bad (people, habbits, and negative energy behind) time to make changes-right!?!? ”

Taylor Swift and Beyonce are among the artists scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards next month.

The R&B star and country singer lead the nominations for the awards with Beyonce landing 10 nods and Taylor with 8. Other performers like Maxwell and Black Eyed Peas, who both have six nominations, as well as the country trio Lady Antebellum, will also be joining the event.

Slated to take place on January 31 at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards will be aired live on CBS.

Beyonce Knowles is being sued by clothing firm Abercrombie and Fitch over her soon-to-launch perfume line.

The R&B star recently signed with the fragrance giant Coty to launch a line of perfumes in 2010. Apparently, the big bosses of Abercrombie are worried that the line from Beyonce or Sasha Fierce would infringe on its own Fierce fragrance brand, even though Coty said it had no plans of using the Sasha Fierce name with the new Beyonce perfume.

According to papers filed in Ohio, Abercrombie has held a trademark for the word ‘fierce’ since 2003. Since Beyonce’s recent album is entitled “I Am… Sasha Fierce,” the company claims that Beyonce would unfairly benefit from the reputation Abercrombie had built for their scent, probably even confusing customers into thinking it was associated with Beyonce’s fragrance. The company also believes that this potential confusion could deprive it of control over its trademark and ultimately cost it sales.

As for Coty, the company released a statement saying, “The terms Fierce and Sasha Fierce are not being used as names of a Beyonce fragrance. Details related to the fragrance, including the official name, will be revealed prior to the launch in early 2010.”

Abercrombie sells Fierce at more than 350 retail stores, having sold more than $190m worth of the fragrance since it was launched in 2002.

It’s been nine years since the World Trade Center bombing, and since then people from all walks of life have given a helping hand to rebuild New York City. Rapper Jay-Z meanwhile lent more than just a helping hand; he rocked a star-studded benefit concert right at the Madison Square Garden.

Jay-Z, a native of Brooklyn, New York, held a sold-out “Answer the Call” concert on Friday, September 11, which as a tribute to all the people who gave their lives in response to the 9/11 attacks. These include the police officers and firefighters present at the time of the tragedy.

The Pledge of Allegiance started the show, which was followed by “The Star-Spangled Banner,” accompanied by an electric guitar. Then Jay-Z showed off his own compositions dedicated to NYC, such as “Where I’m From,” “Empire State of Mind,” and “Brooklyn Go Hard.”

Aside from the master rapper, guest performances from artists such as John Mayer, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna took part of the successful tribute concert.

Jay-Z’s better half, Beyonce, also rocked the stage with her hit song “Diva.”

The benefits of the concert will go to the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit Fund.

The new film of Beyonce and Ali Larter “Obsessed” opened in theaters with bad reviews, but it ranked #1 at the weekend’s box office.

In the film, Beyonce plays the wife of a man, who has a secretary (portrayed by Ali Larter) who is obessed with him. According to critics from RottenTomatoes.com, Obsessed is “a trashy, empty calorie thriller” and “horrifically written and terribly overacted.” At the premiere, Beyonce was then criticized for her black sequined dress with a horrific train.

However, the insults did turn into compliments when the movie dominated the domestic box office weekend with $28.5 million, beating “Fighting,” “The Soloist,” “17 Again,” “State of Play” and “Earth.”

The PG 13 “Obsessed,” which was helmed by tyro feature director Steve Shill, drew audiences comprised 58% of females, with 51% of patrons age 25 or older.

According to Sony’s distribution president Rory Bruer, “This is extremely satisfying,. It had a lot of things going for it, including another great job of marketing by Screen Gems. But most importantly, it had Beyonce and a great cast.”

Apparently, “Obsessed” was produced only for an estimated $20 million. Its debut was the second biggest for Screen Gems, beating the 2006 vampire flick “Underworld: Evolution” ($26.9 million) and the 2005 horror film “The Exorcism of Emily Rose” ($30 million.)
