Brangelina arrived at the 2009 Orange British Academy Film Awards earlier today, Feb 8, at the Royal Opera House in London.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt smiled, waved and laughed around as they entered the event to find out if they’ll be taking home a BAFTA this year.
The couple are both nominated on this year’s BAFTA. Angelina received a nomination for her role in “Changeling,” while Brad is up for his role in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Unfortunately for Jolie and Brad, Kate Winslet won the Best Actress Award and Mickey Rourke won the Best Actor Award. The couple, however, looked like winners. Check out more photos below.

For his amazing performance as Randy “the Ram” Robinson in the movie The Wrestler, Mickey Rourke was presented this year’s American Riviera Award at the 24th Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday, January 31, 2009. Legendary director Francis For Coppola presented the award. Rourke now joins past recipients include Kevin Bacon, Forrest Whitaker, Tommy Lee Jones, Diane Lane and Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Marisa Tomei: “That Pole Work is Crazy Hard”

Marisa Tomei is not new to nude scenes, but for her role as a stripper in ‘The Wrestler’, she dances around in a G-string and nothing else.
The 44-year-old actress confessed, “The script called for certain points where the [Mickey Rourke's character] has to put money in my G-string, so I definitely had to be wearing a G-string – I couldn’t be wearing boy shorts. And I didn’t really want to be topless in every single dance number … but there were certain things called for in the plot, and then I wanted to feel comfortable as her and I wanted it to be flattering.”
Marisa Tomei tells ‘Premiere’ that in order to get into character, she had to undergo research. She said, “I talked to a bunch of different girls and a bunch of different dancers. We just went out, had some drinks, went to a bunch of clubs, watched a lot of dances, got some dances. It’s like anything, any subculture. You get in there, and it’s all individuals. And the dancing itself is not tawdry to the dancer and there’s a lot more complexity there than you’d think.”
Tomei also says pole work is a great workout, saying, “It’s really physically hard! Don’t discount that. Really physically hard. That pole work is crazy hard; to be really good on that pole you have to be really strong.”
