Patrick Schwarzenegger, the son of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, is making his TV debut in the Ryan Murphy show “Scream Queens.”
Murphy, the creator of the FOX scripted thriller, announced the casting news via Twitter, writing: “Happy to announce that PATRICK SCHWARZENEGGER has joined the cast of SCREAM QUEENS.”
Although it was not revealed what character Patrick Schwarzenegger will play on the college-set series, it marks his first scripted TV role. He joins the star-studded cast that includes Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Jamie Lee Curtis, Oliver Hudson, and Nick Jonas.
Schwarzenegger is also not guaranteed to last the entire season. Ryan Murphy once teased that a number of characters would be killed by the end of the first season, leaving only a few to move on to the next chapter, so it goes to show that this theme would also continue to the second season.
“Scream Queens” season 2 is set to premiere on September 22 on FOX.
