Comedian Damon Wayans has come under fire for calling the alleged rape victims of Bill Cosby “unrapeable” and “b**ches”.
Wayans, 55, made the cruel remarks during his interview with Power 105.1 FM’s The Breakfast Club.
Damon wondered why these women waited decades to come forward.
He questioned the situation, saying, “How big is his penis that it gives you amnesia for 40 years? If I was him, I would divorce my wife, wink wink, give her all my money, and then I would go to a deposition, I’d light one of them three-hour cigars, I’d have me some wine, and maybe a Quaalude, and I would just go off, because I don’t believe that he was raping.
“I think he was in relationships with all of them, and then he’s like: ‘You know what, it’s 78, it don’t work no more, I can’t get it up for any of y’all, bye b**ches. Oh, really? Rape.”
But Wayans shot back, “But if you listen to them talk, they go, ‘Well, the first time.’ The first time? B**ch, how many times did it happen? Just listen to what they’re saying.
“And some of them, really, is unrapeable. When you look, I look at them and go, ‘No, he don’t want that. Get outta here!'”
Wayans, who found fame in his 1990s TV show In Living Color, was blasted by social media users.
@Chelpixie tweeted, “Seems @DamonkWayans doesn’t respect women. Damon Wayans Defends Bill Cosby, Calls ‘B**ches’ ‘Un-rape-able'”.
Wayans later attempted to backtrack on his comments, admitting that Cosby was possibly guilty in some cases.
He stated, “For anybody who was raped by Bill Cosby, I’m sorry, and I hope you get justice.”
At least 40 women have gone public and alleged that Cosby, 78, raped them.
New York magazine photographed and interviewed 35 of the accusers and created a striking cover for its July issue.
