Janet Jackson has kicked off her tour with a bang, not only unveiling new songs from her upcoming album such as ‘No Sleeep’ and ‘Unbreakable,’ she also introduced collaboration tracks such as the one with Missy Elliot.
The singer was in Vancouver, Canada on Monday night, August 31 as she embarked on her comeback tour. Janet Jackson took the Rogers Arena stage and began hitting several of her classic songs like ‘When I Think of You’ and ‘Rhythm Nation’, before debuting new songs from her album which is slated for release later this year.
Janet Jackson got the crowd going with a club-ready jam, rumored to be titled “Burn it Up,” with a verse delivered by Missy Elliot on the big screen. This track was reportedly produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Of course, she also got to perform her current single “No Sleeep” featuring J. Cole and debuted another new song/her upcoming album’s title track “Unbreakable”.
Jackson’s album, which is set to be released this fall, marks her first full-length album in 7 years. Her “Unbreakable” tour will hit other cities across North America until November.
