MTV’s new show “Scream” has been renewed for a second season.
Scream, which is a TV adaptation of the 1996 slasher film franchise by Wes Craven starring Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and David Arquette, has successfully impressed big bosses at MTV.
MTV Executive Vice President of Series Development and Head of Scripted Programming, Mina Lefevre said of the show: “It has been a wonderful experience working with Bob Weinstein and his team who are such connoisseurs of this genre and we are thrilled by how our viewers have responded to the reinvention of ‘Scream.’ We look forward to another season filled with suspense, horror and more twists and turns.”
