Rick Ross and his bodyguard Nadrian James were arrested for allegedly holding a man against his will and beating him up with a handgun.
According to police reports, Rick Ross (real name: William Leonard Roberts II) and his bodyguard were wanted for kidnapping and assaulting a man named Jonathan Zamudio. The two allegedly forced the victim into a guesthouse at the rapper’s mansion in Fayette County and beat him with a handgun.
The incident reportedly happened on June 7 when the hip-hop star was having work done at his mansion, got into an altercation with one of the workers and roughed him up.
The arrest warrants stated: “The victim was then questioned under duress and forced to answer questions at gunpoint. The victim lost use of his jaw and is restricted to soft foods and liquid diet only as a result of not being able to chew food.”
Rick Ross and his bodyguard were arrested at the mansion, failed without bail and will remain behind bars until they face a judge on July 1. The rapper was charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and aggravated battery, while his bodyguard James was charged with kidnapping and aggravated battery.
This isn’t the rapper’s first legal woe this month. Rick Ross was just arrested for marijuana possession and traffic violation on June 10.
