Marion Cotillard has just signed on for a role in the upcoming movie adaptation of popular video game ‘Assassin’s Creed’.
Although her role has not yet been disclosed, it has been confirmed that Marion Cotillard will be a part of the film’s possible future franchise.
The film will see her reuniting with her “Macbeth” co-star Michael Fassbender, who’s been cast to play the lead, described as “a bartender forced by a mysterious corporation to relive his ancestors’ memories of stabbing people in the neck throughout history.”
Deadline reports that the release date for “Assassin’s Creed” has been set for December 21, 2016, with production scheduled to start in fall. Justin Kurzel, who helmed Macbeth that stars both Fassbender and Cotillard, is also set to direct the film.
