Bruce Willis is set to play a former CIA operative in the movie directed by ‘Submerged’ helmer Steven C. Miller.
The ‘G.I. Joe: Retaliation’ star has landed himself a new project in the upcoming thriller “Extraction.” Deadline.com reports that the film begins production on February 9 in Alabama with a script by Umair Aleem.
Bruce Willis is playing a former CIA operative who hasn’t been the same after his wife was murdered. He has a son who is also a CIA operative and with his father they are working on the development of a super-weapon called the Condor when dad is kidnapped by a terrorist group.
“Extraction” is being eye for a 2016 release date. It is produced by Randall Emmett, George Furla and Adam Goldworm.
This marks the second project Willis has signed on this year. Just last week, he reportedly joined another thriller: the John Pogue-directed “Wake,” wherein he plays a sociopath named Red Forrester who has to save his family, who banished him from their home years ago, when they are in danger.
