Chris Pratt is set to receive his Pudding Pot next month, as he was announced as this year’s Hasty Pudding’s “Man of the Year.”
The “Parks and Recreation” star is going to be roasted by Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals and presented his his Pudding Pot at Farkas Hall in Harvard Square on February 6.
The announcement just comes right after his co-star Amy Poehler was announced as the 2015 Woman of the Year.
Hasty Pudding president Jason Hellerstein joked: “We vehemently deny that the members of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals are obsessed with Parks and Recreation. There is absolutely no basis to the rumors of ritualistic weekly viewings of the show at the Hasty Pudding Clubhouse. Joking aside, Chris Pratt’s recent achievements as an actor are outstanding and we could not be more thrilled to host him and celebrate his talent as only the Pudding can.”
Chris Pratt did have an outstanding year in 2014. He starred two big films: the animated flick “Lego Movie” and Marvel’s live-action superhero adaptation “Guardians of the Galaxy”. It doesn’t stop there though. Pratt’s career is just heating up; he will next star in “Jurassic World”.
Pratt and Poehler will receive their Pudding Pots on February 6 at Farkas Hall in Harvard Square.
