Scarlett Johansson has reportedly been offered the lead role in a movie adaptation of famous magna comic, “Ghost in the Shell.”
According to reports, the actress was given a $10 million offer for the job, after her movie “Lucy” became a surprise hit. She was considered mainly for her role as Natasha Romanov/Black Widow in the ‘Avengers’ films.
Margot Robbie was supposed to play lead role MotokoKusanagi, but pursued a role in David Ayer’s “Suicide Squad” instead.
“Ghost in the Shell” will be produced by DreamWorks and will be based on the 1995 film and Magna comic.
Johansson has not yet signed on to the project, but industry sources say the chances are high that she does.
