David Bowie released a jazzy seven-minute epic called “Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)” on Sunday on BBC Music 6.
This track is set to be included on the upcoming best-of compilation ‘Nothing Has Changed.’
This new song was produced by Bowie’s longtime collaborator Tony Visconti and features New York’s Maria Schneider Orchestra.
“Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)” is one of the unreleased tracks that will accompany Bowie’s Nothing Has Changed, a three-disc collection of Bowie’s best presented in reverse chronological order, from 2013’s The Next Day to his 1964 Davie Jones and the King Bees single “Liza Jane.”
David Bowie specifically recorded “Sue” for the compilation.
Nothing Has Changed is out on November 17th. “Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)” will be released as a limited edition 10″ single on Black Friday, November 28th, backed by another new track titled “‘Tis a Pity She’s a Whore.”
