Terrell Owens is going to be joining the cast of “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” once the FOX show returns for its second season.
FOX revealed on Friday that it has signed on former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens for a guest appearance, probably to kick some ass on the show’s next NYPD-FDNY football game.
The six-time Pro Bowler will play himself in an episode of the police comedy this fall. Terrell Owens will reportedly square off against Sgt. Terry Jeffords (played by former NFL linebacker Terry Crews) and the Nine-Nine precinct in another cop-versus-fireman football game.
Owens confirmed his stint on the show by tweeting a photo from the set on Friday.
The season 2 premiere of Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs September 28 on Fox.
