The on-stage rants of Kanye West are no longer amusing his fans. On his gig at London’s Wireless fest, the rapper was booed after a 20-minute sermon.
The booing comes just three weeks after Kanye got some heat at Bonnaroo, over his disastrous appearance at the festival six years ago. The latest booing happened for different reasons though, and it was due to West’s infamous impromptu lectures in between his performances.
According to fans who watched the show, West’s tirade about the fashion industry lasted about 20 minutes, with Kanye saying: ““I’m not going to mention any names, but… Nike, Louis Vuitton and Gucci. Don’t discriminate against me ’cause I’m a black man making music.”
It’s worth noting that Kanye West does his rants often as he wears the bejeweled mask that covers his entire face. It could mean that the rant + the mask is part of his performance, but either way, his fans seem to be done with it.
