Production of “The Whole Truth” is back on, as Keanu Reeves signed up to replace Daniel Craig.
The filming schedule of “The Whole Truth” was left hanging when Craig exited the project in April, several days before filming was set to begin due to his previous commitment to “Bond 24.”
Deadline reports that Reeves is set to take the over the lead role of a defense attorney fighting to get his teenage client acquitted of murdering his wealthy father. Keanu joins other previously announced stars Gabriel Basso, Renee Zellweger and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
“The Whole Truth” comes from a screenplay by Nicholas Kazan. It will be directed by Courtney Hunt, who was nominated for an Oscar with her directorial debut “Frozen River.”
Keanu Reeves and the entire production team begin filming next month in New Orleans.
