LeBron James has signed on to star in Judd Apatow’s next comedy film “Trainwreck.”

Judd Apatow took to Twitter to announce the casting news. He said: “Lebron James has joined the cast of my next film Trainwreck written by and starring @amyschumer. Welcome @KingJames.”

The NBA star joins Amy Schumer, Bill Hader, Tilda Swinton, Method Man and Barkhad Abdi on the film.

LeBron James had several non-basketball gigs in the past, including a hosting stint on Saturday Night Live, a cameo on “Entourage,” voice-work for “Meet the LeBrons.” He will also appear on Kevin Hart’s upcoming movie called “Ballers,” where LeBron will play Hart’s brother.

On top of his Samsung commercials, James is also working with Universal Pictures on a movie based off his high school basketball career.
