Courtney Love admits to writing note found in Cobain's wallet(1)

Courtney Love admits she wrote that the note released by police taken from her late husband Kurt Cobain’s wallet at the time of his death.

Seattle, Washington police detectives released a copy of the note last month, as they studied the case just in time for the former Nirvana frontman’s 20th death anniversary.

The handwritten note reads: “Do you Kurt Cobain take Courtney Michelle Love to be your lawful shredded wife … even when she’s a bitch with zits and siphoning all yr money for doping and whoring…”

During its release, many media outlets suggested it was a sign that Cobain and his wife were having problems at the time of his passing, but Love has now confessed she wrote the note.

Courtney Love tells Seattle Times that she wrote the note on New Year’s Eve 1991, when Nirvana was performing in San Francisco, California.
