Comedian Mike Myers has become a father for the second time, this time welcoming a daughter to their family.
The 50-year-old “Shrek” star and his wife Kelly are the proud new parents of daughter Sunday Molly, who was born on Friday. Myers sent out a brief statement to People.com, saying that they “couldn’t be happier.”
Mike spoke about the joys of fatherhood with an interview with Deadline in September while promoting his directorial debut “Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon.” He said: “Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life. I knew I wanted to be a father, I didn’t know it was going to be this awesome or that my kid would come out so beautiful and lovely.”
Mike and Kelly got married in 2010 and welcomed son Spike in September 2011.
