Oprah Winfrey is taking a self-help show on tour on the road this autumn.
The media mogul announced that she will embark on a two-day arena event called “Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend.”
Oprah told The Hollywood Reporter: “It’s about living the life you want, because a great percentage of the population is living a life that their mother wanted, that their husband wanted, that they thought or heard they wanted.”
Opra will go to eight cities and will spend a weekend with other guests. On Friday night, the 60-year-old Winfrey will take the stage alone, but on the following day, will invite several people who appeared on her talk show and her OWN network to join the discussions.
Iyanla Vanzant, ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ author Elizabeth Gilbert and Pastor Rob Bell are among the guests to join Oprah, with author Deepak Chopra occasionally appearing as guests.
Oprah’s tour begins in Atlanta, Georgia during the first weekend in September. Those who wish to attend can buy tickets priced at $99 with a $999 ticket price for guests who want a chance to meet Oprah.
