Former child stars Tia and Tamera Mowry announced that they are quitting their family reality show.
“Tia & Tamera” was launched in 2011 with the “Sister, Sister” twins sharing their everyday life to viewers, as they tackle motherhood, their showbiz careers and marriage in front of the camera. Now, after three seasons, the twins say that they have decided to “live their lives away from the spotlight.
Tamera Mowry-Housley announced yesterday that the show is no more. She explained in several Twitter posts: “Wanted to say Thank You for all the love and support. But most of all welcoming me, my husband, n (and) my son into your homes for 3 seasons…” She adds: “Tia and Tamera will not have a season 4. Thank you for always supporting us throughout the years. Tia n I decided it was time 2 live r family lives behind the cameras…”
While Tia and Tamera won’t be sharing the screen, each still have other gigs to keep them busy. Tia Mowry-Hardrict is currently working on her new TV comedy “Instant Mom,” while Mowry-Housley is a panelist on new talk show “The Real.”
