FOX’s switching of schedules has had an immediate effect on one of its shows. Bones sees a rise in ratings for two consecutive Fridays, after it spending Monday nights for several seasons.
Bones made its debut to the Friday night slot last week with an increase in ratings. Fox’s long-running procedural drama premiered to a mere 1.2 adults 18-49 rating on November 15, then increased to a 1.5 the following week.
Bones then took a break for the holiday week and increased to a higher 1.6 with 6.8 million total viewers. According to Entertainment Weekly, Bones’ improved ratings on the Friday slot is good for the network, since FOX has struggled to win Friday nights.
