Demi Lovato is putting her personal problems into good use. The singer is reportedly set to write an inspirational quote book.
The 21-year-old former Disney star signed a two-book deal with Macmillan. The publishing house announced Monday that the first book entitled “Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year” is a collection of daily inspirational quotes that evolved from Lovato’s tweets.
Lovato posted a video announcement about the book Monday, where she said: “One of the things that has helped me with recovery is taking every day one day at a time. I’m a firm believer in starting the day off the right way with inspirational quotes and sort of a morning meditation, so I’ve put together 365 of my favorite quotes and a morning meditation for everybody.”
Demi has opened up about being suicidal at age 7. She has struggled with depression and addiction in the past, and has been actively working with anti-bullying campaigns.
“Staying Strong: 365 Days a Year” is due out November 19, and in Spanish on December 3. A memoir will follow at a later date.
