Justin Timberlake is rumored to be reuniting with his former boyband-mates N’Sync as they take the MTV VMAs stage together on Sunday night at the Barclays Center.
The New York Post is quoting an unnamed source that the reunion is going to happen. If it does, it will be the group’s first performance as N’Sync since they disbanded in 2002.
The rumor was ignited more when J.C. Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick were spotted in the VIP section for Timberlake’s show with Jay Z last Friday in Miami.
The Post claims all members of the group will reunite to celebrate Timberlake’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for his “pioneering and innovative impact” on music videos. Justin is the second placer for winning the most VMAs, right behind Madonna.
And his wins would probably add some more once he begins working on videos for his “The 20/20 Experience” follow-up, which is set to be released on Sept. 30.
