Snooki is fighting Jersey Shore residents who are protesting the upcoming filming of her spin-off reality show.
The “Jersey Shore” star took to Twitter to tell the world what she thinks about the residents of Pelican Island that do not want her family, friends or cameras rolling for the “Snooki & JWoww” reality show anywhere near their town.
According to The Star-Ledger, “dozens of people attended a council meeting Monday, and many of them blasted township officials, fearing a circus-like atmosphere.” The people are reportedly telling their leaders that they do not want JWoww, Snooki or their show to benefit from their rebuild from Hurricane Sandy. And the residents are serious as hell, even hiring a lawyer to try and block the production.
Snooki reacted to the news with a screen shot of the NJ.com story about the council meeting: “Adults are trying to ban my son, fiancé and I from enjoying our summer at the shore. Grow up, get over yourself and move on.” She adds: “This is not how we should be treating one another. Absolutely sick and very sad. I pray for you. There’s much bigger things to worry about in life than trying to ban my family from your neighborhood.”
