Diddy’s ‘Funny or Die’ video uploaded back in May where she spoofed Downton Abbey has impressed the show’s creator Julian Fellowes and is actually considering a role for the rapper on the hit PBS soap.
Fellowes told The Telegraph at the Life After Stroke Awards, at the Dorchester hotel in Mayfair: “I loved that, I thought it was fabulous. I absolutely adored it, but I just couldn’t see how he could have done it.” When asked if he would hire Diddy for a role in the series, Fellowes teased: “Never say never,” adding: “… though I imagine he’d steal the scene, even if it was a small part.”
Julian Fellowes said he enjoyed Diddy’s spoof of the show a video entitled “Downton Diddy,” which showed the rapper explaining that he was to play the role the new owner of the country house named Lord Wolcott.
To know if Fellowes would truly hire Diddy for a cameo, check out the season 4 of Downton Abbey when it premieres on January 5 on PBS.
