Justin Bieber is leaving us earthlings! The 19-year-old pop star (along with his manager Scooter Braun) has booked a ticket for a space flight with Virgin Galactic.
Virgin’s billionaire founder Richard Branson revealed the news with a simple message via Twitter, where he said: “Great to hear @justinbieber & @scooterbraun are latest @virgingalactic future astronauts, Congrats, see you up there!”
Bieber didn’t respond to the tweet, but re-tweeted the message to his 40-million followers. His manager, however, confirmed the news and replied: “I’m going to space momma!”
Maybe Justin Bieber’s February tweet where he said he wants to “do a concert in space” could come true, but it would definitely cost much aplenty. Tickets to the Virgin space flight $250,000 per person for a seat on the rocket-powered SpaceShipTwo. He will be joining Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Victoria Principal, and Ashton Kutcher on Virgin Galactic’s first suborbital flight.
