Miley Cyrus premiered her new single “We Can’t Stop” on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Monday morning.
“We Can’t Stop” marks Cryus’ first single released in three years. After releasing the album “Can’t Be Tamed” in 2010, Miley has been working on other people’s music, such as Snoop Lion’s recent “Ashtrays and Heartbreaks.”
Produced by Mike WiLL Made It, “We Can’t Stop” will be featured on Cyrus’s upcoming fourth studio album. She said of the track: “Everyone always judges and say what they want, but my fans have really stood by me no matter what I’ve been through. This is a song that says where I’m at in my life right now.”
“We Can’t Stop” includes lyrics like “sweaty bodies everywhere,” “hands in the air like we don’t care,” and “it’s our party, we can do what we want.”
“We Can’t Stop” is Miley’s first single with RCA records. Although the album is set for a release date later this year, the new track is now available to download on iTunes in the US and will be released in the UK on August 18.
