Transformers 4 just got itself a new villain… Kelsey Grammer will be playing a human villain named Harold Attinger.
According to reports, Michael Bay hired the “Frasier” star to play the character of a “counter intelligence guy” who will be against our good robots, the Autobots.
Casting for the fourth installment in the anticipated action series is now underway, with Grammer being the fifth actor cast in the last few months. The first official word on casting came when Bay revealed that he would be reteaming with his “Pain & Gain” star, Mark Wahlberg, for the start of a new “Transformers” trilogy.
Other casts of Transformers 4 include young stars Jack Reynor and Nicola Peltz, as well as Stanley Tucci, who signed on in April to an undisclosed role.
“Transformers 4” is scheduled to open in theaters on June 27, 2014. The last film of the series, “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” made $1 billion+ at the global box office in 2011.
