Eva Longoria-produced “Ready for Love” show canceled

Eva Longoria unveils the new 'Sheba: Feed Your Passion' campaign

NBC has canceled Ready for Love, the dating show produced by Eva Longoria.

“Ready for Love” has only aired two episodes on Tuesdays 10 pm slot, but it will now be replaced by Grimm, starting April 26 through May 21 at 9pm Fridays.

NBC noted that it is unclear where or when the remaining episodes of the Eva Longoria-produced dating show will air.

“Ready for Love” made its two-hour debut on April 10, which had a 1.8 ratings on its first hour and 1.3 on its second hour. It came right after The Voice, which means it has one of the strongest lead-ins of the network. The second episode had 3.2 million viewers and averaged a 1.2 rating in the key demographic.

NBC’s Tuesday 10pm slot remains a problematic slot for the network, after “Parenthood” ended in February and replaced by “Smash,” which quickly bombed.
