Although reports have been showing up since yesterday that Miranda Kerr has been fired from her Victoria’s Secret gig, the company has said in a statement that the model is still a part of their family.
Rumors of Kerr’s removal as a Victoria’s Secret Angel began when Us Weekly claimed the company is parting ways with them because she’s “not a big seller” and has a “difficult reputation.”
Victoria’s Secret’s chief marketing officer Ed Razek told E! News the lingerie company has “no plans to stop working with her,” adding that Miranda is “one best models in the history of the business—and easily one of the most popular. She is also a consummate professional. Any rumors to the contrary are simply untrue.”
Razek continued: “While her international commitments have kept her away from us more than we’d like over the past few years, she will always be an Angel to me. We have no plans to stop working with her. In fact, I’ve already invited her to walk the runway in this year’s fashion show and, happily, she’s agreed.”
