The actress/director has proven yet again that she’s not “all talk” and photo-ops with her humanitarian projects. Angelina Jolie opened a school for girls in Afghanistan.

Jolie announced the news this week that the exclusive-for-girls primary school already has several hundred students. It is located outside of Kabul in a region known for resistance to education for girls and a high population of refugees.

Angelina Jolie says she plans to fund the school with profits from her “Style by Jolie” jewelry line, which will be open for sales this week. The line will feature designs from famed jewelry designer Robert Procop. All profits will be under Jolie’s new foundation called “The Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.”

This won’t be the last of her projects, as Jolie is reportedly planning to open up more schools elsewhere.
