Kim Kardashian and her ex Kris Humphries will finally meet for a divorce trial set by the judge this week to begin in May.
The reality TV celeb has been trying to get divorced for over a year, but her pro baller ex Humphries wants to fight to the end. Now, the two can face off at their divorce trial a judge has ruled to begin on May 6.
Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser and Kris Humphries’ new attorney was in court yesterday to hear the judge’s decision. Kim K has wanted divorce since the couple separated, but Kris has been trying to insist on an annulment instead (to the point that one of his lawyers – Martin Waller – dropped him as a client as he believed an annulment is not possible).
At the court yesterday, Humphries’ attorney asked the judge for another delay before setting the trial date, however the judge declined his request.
Kardashian and Kris Humphries married on August 20, 2011. After 72 days, Kim K filed for divorce with Humphries responding that he wanted an annulment based on fraud and asked Kim to pay for his attorney’s fees.
