It’s official! “Game of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage has just joined the cast of “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”
The 43-year-old Emmy and Golden Globe winner has been playing the scheming Tyrion in HBO’s hit series “Game of Thrones,” and when X-Men director Bryan Singer revealed the casting of Dinklage, tons of fans are now speculating which character he’s going to play.
Director Bryan Singer tweeted Wednesday: “Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!”
The top speculation online is that Peter Dinklage will be playing Canadian acrobatic super hero Puck, who was introduced in a 1983 Marvel comic book. But no confirmations from Fox or Singer about the role have been announced.
What’s confirmed is that Peter Dinklage will be working with James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ellen Page, Michael Fassbender and Nicholas Hoult, who have all signed on to reprise their roles from 2011’s ‘X-Men: First Class.’
