Taylor Swift & Michael J. Fox “all good” after “Don’t Date My Son” Message

Taylor Swift’s reputation of having short romantic relationships and writing songs about the guys became a joke at the Golden Globes, so when Michael J. Fox said that he wouldn’t want his son to date Swift, the veteran actor quickly called Swift up to clear up his message.

Swift assured her fans yesterday that the “Back to the Future” star reached out to her in a tweet to her 23 million followers that read: “Hey everybody, Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good,” adding that she is grateful for all the support she got, telling her fans: “Thank you for having my back.”

Michael J. Fox’s answer when asked if he didn’t want Taylor to date his son Sam Michael caused many to report that the actor didn’t want Swift near his son. When asked to comment about Tina Fey and Amy Phoeler’s joke at the Golden Globes, Michael answered Vulture: “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right? What a way to build a career. I wouldn’t even know who she was.”
