Justin Bieber announces 2013 US tour dates

Whoever said Justin Bieber’s 15 minutes of fame are up is in it for a disappointment. The pop star has just announced the second leg of his album “Believe” with 30 more dates from June to August.

Bieber has been busy touring North America to support his latest album since September 29 and originally planned to wrap the tour up in January, then travel overseas from February to April.

Justin Biebier’s North American tour is presented by AEG Live and featured Bieber’s protege Carly Rae Jepsen who recently received two Grammy nods for “Call Me Maybe.” Ironically, Bieber didn’t snatch any nomination, which made his manager Scooter Braun tweet his displease saying, “This time he deserved to be recognized and I don’t really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision I don’t agree with.”

Last week, Bieber hinted via Twitter that more dates will be added to his tour, teasing his followers: “and maybe some more dates for the US, Canada and Europe. want them? good christmas gift idea? It’s all coming … #BELIEVEtour.” Aside from fans, many young kids would also be benefitting from the tour, since Bieber promised to donate $1 to Pencils of Promise for each ticket sold during this tour and eventually helping the foundation build schools around the world and enhancing education for children in needs.
