Beyonce may be in the headlines after Wendy Williams called her someone with a “fifth grade education,” but she’s definitely one knows good business when she sees one. Now, the pop star has reportedly signed with Pepsi.
The 31-year-old “End of Time” singer had partnered with Pepsi in a multi-year deal estimated at $50 million. The deal will reportedly include standard advertising like commercials, photo shoots, as well as a multimillion-dollar fund to support the singer’s chosen creative projects, including her next album.
Because of this new deal, Pepsi will also be a huge part of her world tour next year. Pepsi is also planning to dedicate a limited edition can with Beyonce’s face on it sometime next year (to be debut in Europe first before anywhere else).
PepsiCo is giving Beyonce unprecedented creative freedom. She says of her collaboration with the softdrink giant: “Pepsi embraces creativity and understands that artists evolve. As a businesswoman, this allows me to work with a lifestyle brand with no compromise and without sacrificing my creativity.”
