Catherine Zeta-Jones is promoting her latest film “Playing for Keeps” as she makes the rounds on various TV shows. On her appearance on Good Morning America yesterday, the actress got tired of being asked about her bipolar disorder and seemed pissed with the interview.
When her bipolar disorder came up on Friday’s GMA interview, the Oscar-winning actress said, “You know what? I’m sick of talking about it because I never wanted to be the poster child for this. I never wanted this to come out publicly. It came out, and I dealt with it in the best way I could, and that was just saying, ‘Hey, I’m bipolar.’”
On April 2011, Zeta-Jones revealed that she checked herself into a mental facility to deal with her struggle. The actress adds, “Everyone has things going on and we deal with them the best we can. We can’t jump from the rooftops shouting, ‘I have this, look at me. Victim.’ No, we all have issues in life. I’m really happy that I have great friends, great support and that’s all I can do.”
“Playing for Keeps” opened yesterday with not-so-good reviews. Zeta-Jones will remain busy with at least three more movies scheduled to be released next year.
